harvest pear pumpkin patties
My kids used to believe these were cookies. Probably because everything I made into little patties were called “cookies,” even if they were bean burgers! Babies love these bite-sized patties for on-the-go snacks or warmed with maple syrup for dipping.
1 pouch Baby Gourmet Harvest Pear Pumpkin Banana
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
Maple syrup for dipping (optional)
- In a large bowl, combine Baby Gourmet, flour, egg, maple syrup, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- Warm 1 tbsp. of the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Drop 1 tbsp. of mixture, at a time, into the hot pan. Cook until golden, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Repeat for the second batch.
Pumpkins are amazing for infant development, containing nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin C and vitamin A.
