garden inspired activities for the littles!

Fairy Garden Fun
Fairy Gardens are all the rage these days. They’re like a summer spin on Gingerbread houses. If your kids are old enough, pick up a little potting soil, some microgreens that sprout in just a few days and some sticks, rocks, moss, and feathers for a fun, natural backyard fairy garden like this one.
Food Based Fairy Gardens
Another fun idea is an edible fairy garden. It’s perfect if your toddler has a tendency to put all the things in their mouths and you’re worried about them eating dirt, moss and rocks. This fun food-based spin on a fairy garden might be just the thing for you!
