Banana Kale Super Smoothie
Also known as the “Green Lantern” smoothie at my house! This simple recipe combines tart apple, sweet creamy banana and a cup of green veggies for a quick and healthy start to your day.
2 small bananas
1 apple, cored and chopped
1 cup kale, chopped
1 cup milk (I use almond milk or coconut milk as an alternative)
handful of ice cubes
- In a blender combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Add any additional goodies, such as hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax oil or greens powder as you wish.
